First things first when you land in Germany you need to grab a döner kebab. Think of it like how us Americans view burgers as a grab and go meal. It is delicious, filling, and hits all the cravings. When visiting Cologne you need to see the Cathedral its a Unesco site. The lines can get pretty long since it is the main attraction in the city. I recommend walking around the city center and grabbing some currywurst & glüwein. Grab and go and see all the sites. When in Germany I also tried the delicious schnitzel and it didn’t disappoint! This is one of my favorite cities in the world! Berlin is oozing with culture, art, food, and so much more. It always have the coolest fashion and trends and the food had cuisines from every ethnic background imaginable. First stop was of course the Brandenburg Gate. Such a historical unique place that has stood the test of time. Being in a major city means that getting around in metro is super easy. If you go in winter like I did you could have the chance to ice skate and take in all the Christmas markets and their magic. The food vendors and the ambiance is absolutely magnificent. Truly dazzling and even more merry in person. Other must-see places I recommend is checking out the Berliner Dom, East Side Gallery, & Potsdamer Platz. I love trying new food and some of the most delicious food I had in the city was some tapas and Vietnamese food. It was über lecker.
